2015년 3월 3일, 유럽위원회는 방향족탄화수소(PAHs : Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons)와 프탈레이트(Phthalate)에 관한
REACH 규정 (EC) No 1907/2006의 부속서 XVII에 개정하였습니다.
* Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/326 of 2 March 2015 amending Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Coundil on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restrction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and phthalates
동 개정은 타이어 또는 타이어 부품 생산 시 사용되는 신전유(Extender Oil)의 PAHs 함유량에 대한 시험분석을 유럽표준
(EN 16143:2013)에 따라 시행하도록 명시하였으며, 2016년 9월 23일 이후부터 적용됩니다.
* Petroleum products – Determination of content of Benzo (a)pyrene (BaP) and selected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in extender oils – Procedure using double LC cleaning and GC/MS analysis
REACH 부속서 XVII에 따르면, 타이어 및 타이어 부품에 1mg/kg 이상의 벤조피렌(benzo (a)pyrene (BaP))또는 8가지 방향족
탄화수소의 함유량이 10mg/kg이상인 신전유를 사용할 경우, 해당 제품의 유통 및 사용이 금지 됩니다.
