2014. 9. 2(수) 호주 국가 산업물질 신고 및 평가제도 (National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme, NICNAS)는 11종 화학물질을 호주 화학물질 보유목록(Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances, AICS)에 추가 등재하였다. 동 화학물질은 화장품에만 사용할 수 있으며, 동 목록에 사용 가능한 상황도 함께 명시되어 있다.

해당물질(CAS No.)은 다음과 같다.

- propylene glycol myristyl ether acetate(135326-54-4)

이제부터 동 화학물질은 신규 화학물질이 아닌, 보유 화학물질로 간주되므로 더 이상 연간 보고 규정을 준수하지 않아도 된다. 그러나 동 화학물질이 명시된 용도가 아닌 다른 용도로 사용될 경우, 신규 화학물질로 간주되어 연간 보고 규정을 준수해야 한다.
