Household Chemical Products (HCP) : Chemical products used in everyday living spaces, such as homes, offices, multi-use facilities, etc., are likely to cause chemical exposure to the public and the environment. Most of the chemicals we use around us fall under HCP.
HCP Subject to Safety Confirmation (HCPSC) : HCP Subject to Safety Confirmation are HCP designated by Ministry of Environment (MoE) due to their health and environmental risks based on risk assessment.
Manufacturers and importers of HCP subject to safety confirmation have obligations to either notify or apply for approval, depending on the product type.
